School History

Our Lady’s College was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1964 and is dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God.

The College seeks to uphold the ideals of St Mary (of the Cross) MacKillop, foundress of the Josephite Order, in its loyalty to the Catholic Church, promotion of the privacy and rights of the family, respect for the dignity of each person and appreciation of the richness and diversity of cultures that contribute to a united community.

In 1976 it came under the auspices of the Brisbane Catholic Education Centre and has been conducted since then as a Brisbane Archdiocesan College.
