​​​Vocational Education & Training (VET) Courses

Our Lady's College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 30521) that offers nationally recognised certificates to our students as part of our everyday curriculum.

Vocational Education & Training (VET) subjects are complete training packages that award a VET Certificate upon successful completion and if student has provided a validated USI number in addition to any other certification students receive.

To receive the VET Certificate, students must complete the course and demonstrate competency in each of the required VET modules. Students may choose from the fo llowing courses:

·        Certificate I in Info rmation, Digital Media and Technology (ICT10115)

·        Certificate e III in Business (BSB30115) Binnacle Training (RTO Code 31319)

Complaints and App​​​​​eals Policy

Any person wishing to make a complaint against the College concerning its conduct as an R​​TO, whether a complaint, appeal or other matter, shall have access to the complaints and appeals procedure.

Complaints include conduct of the RTO, its trainers, assessors and other staff, a third party pr​​oviding services on the RTO’s behalf, its trainers, assessors or other staff, or a student of the RTO. An appeal can be made to the College for a review of a decision, including complaints regarding assessment.

Our Lady’s College, as a school RTO, will ensure the principles of natural justice and​​ procedural fairness are upheld at every stage of the complaints and appeals process. All formal complaints and appeals will be heard and decided on within 60 calendar days of receiving the written complaint or appeal.

If the College considers more than 60 calendar days are required to process and finalise the de​​cision, the complainant or appellant will be informed of the reasons in writing and will be regularly updated on the progress of the matter.

If the processes fail to resolve the complaint or appeal, a review by an independ​ent party will be provided if requested.
