Our Facilities

The facilities within Our Lady’s College reflect the growing and changing needs of our academic environment.

Technology

Technology continues to expand and we offer girls well-equipped, networked, air-conditioned computer laboratories. Girls have access to other computers within our Resource Centre. Here they may work on personal assignments or other tasks, before, after or during school hours, and with the support of library staff.

Resource Centre

Apart from the numerous titles held here, girls have the use of video facilities and computers. The library is open until 4.00pm each afternoon or as negotiated. Small rooms leading from the library provide the girls with quiet spaces to study or meet.

Science

Three modern and well-equipped science laboratories.

Art

Large, spacious, classroom with outdoor extension facilities. Pottery room and kiln.

Music

Well-resourced music classroom and private practice rooms.

General Classrooms

All classrooms are equipped with new and well-maintained furniture. As most teachers have their own rooms, each room is rich in resources specific to the subjects taught in that room.

Grounds and Gardens

The students of the College play an active role in the upkeep of the college gardens. Members of the Environment Club regularly water, weed, plant and mulch their gardens, thus providing an attractive garden setting for all to enjoy.

Adjacent facilities

Our Lady’s College is part of a wider Catholic community and has access to parish facilities. Our girls attend Mary Immaculate Church for particular Masses and functions. We use the Mary Immaculate Hall as an extension to our Drama facilities when necessary and for school performances and events. The Mary MacKillop Centre is also adjacent to our College, and provides our girls with both an extra Chapel and easy access to the records of our Founder, Mary MacKillop.

Mary Immaculate Primary School is also located on this same block, and provides parents with the option of having their children educated from Year 1 to Year 12 on this shared site.
