Mission, Vision & Values

In 2025, Intentional Inclusivity calls on us to live the Gospel with a Josephite heart so that we can build a stronger, more connected and equitable community where diversity is embraced and everyone is valued and included.

We are called to a sense of justice in our decision making so that we can truly, "Never see a need without doing something about it."  - Mary MacKillop

The vision focuses on an inclusive Josephite community empowering compassionate and courageous learners. The mission emphasises living Josephite values through tradition, excellence and community. The values highlight creative courage, mutual respect, conscious compassion and intentional inclusivity. Key priorities include connecting communities, delivering thriving schools, maximising potential and optimising conditions for success, with supporting actions in community engagement, data-informed teaching, staff development, and sustainable learning environments.

Service Learning Initiatives

An OLC student uses her education to make a difference in the world, particularly for the marginalised and disempowered. In 2023 and 2024, we lived this service mission through various service learning initiatives, including the Tiwi Island Immersion, the Tukka Project (Kids feeding Kids), the Winter Sleepout, the You Are Not Alone Walk, the Epic Walk for DV, Rosies' Street Outreach and the Mary Immaculate Homework Club.
