Outreach

Community service as expressed through Mary Mackillop's words: “never see a need without doing something about it" is a key part of the Our Lady's community.

Each year all students are encouraged to take part in their year level service activity to develop and understanding of the world and the role individuals can play in making a difference.

These activities may change, but current community service activities include volunteering as part of the Rosies Student Engagement Program and visiting residents at a local aged care home.

Students who are passionate about social action and justice can join Our Lady's Social Justice Committee, St Vincent de Paul Society and The Benenson Society, which works to promote human rights for prisoners of conscience.

The Year 7 and 8 2023 social justice project, Blue Bags for St. Vincent De Paul. The aim is to provide those who are released from correctional facilities support in their first 72 hours.
