Our Lady's College is a Catholic Secondary College established in 1964 by the Sisters of St Joseph.
We seek to uphold the ideals of Mary MacKillop and to pursue excellence as embodied in the College motto, “Ad Altiora" – Ever Higher.
Our Lady’s College is committed to providing accessible Catholic Education for all students regardless of individual family circumstances.
Commencing in 2024 the College will provide two Academic Scholarships for high potential Year 7 students. The scholarship covers tuition fees only from Years 7-9.
IMPORTANT DATES: Scholarship applications for students entering Year 7 in 2024
- Applications for 2024 Scholarships open: Monday, 4 September 2023
- Applications for 2024 Scholarships close: Monday 9 October 2023
- As part of the application process, each student will need to sit the ACER Scholarship Test.
- ACER Scholarship Test will be held on Saturday 21 October 2023, 9.00am at OLC
ACER Scholarship Test will be open for registration from Wednesday 6 September, 2023 closing on Tuesday 10 October, 2023. Registration for this test will incur a $105 fee. See ACER website for full details.
The value of these scholarships will be $2,500 each year for three years, Years 7-9. Total value $7,500
Scholarship Opportunity
Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated high academic potential.
- Academic Scholarship applicants are required to sit the ACER Scholarship Test.
- Scholarships will be determined based on the results of the ACER Scholarship Test, school results and an interview with College Leadership.
Scholarship Eligibility and Expectations
To be eligible for a Scholarship at Our Lady’s College, all prospective families must take the following into consideration.
- Prospective applicants must complete the Scholarship Application Form.
- All scholarship recipients are expected to contribute to the life and culture of the College including involvement in co-curricular activities, and demonstrating the qualities compatible with the values and ethos of the College.
- Scholarship recipients need to demonstrate ongoing academic success for the three years covered by the scholarship.
- Assistance is provided on the understanding of the obligation of strict confidentiality on both the family and the College Scholarship Committee.
- Scholarships are applied to tuition fees only.
